Goodbye wall, hello kitchen island!

"MORE SPACE!" This is what we hear with just about every kitchen remodel when working with clients owning older homes. If you love to cook, two feet of counter space is not for the faint of heart, unless of course you're the next Julia Childs, she was after all the master of cooking elaborate meals with very little room. That said, our modern world is demanding the kitchen remain the focal point in our homes. No matter how your home is designed, where do you always find everyone? You guessed it, "Around the kitchen island!" From an interior design perspective we know the memories families collect around their kitchen island are timeless treasures. Just another reason why we love what we do!

We are thrilled to share Kelly and Adam's kitchen remodel with you. This beautiful kitchen started as a boxed in alley kitchen and became and open concept beauty.

Removing the wall provided the space we needed for their 10' peninsula kitchen island.
We gained ample space by redesigning the layout!

We absolutely loved working on this project. It's always amazing to see the transformation of not only the space we're working on but in how the clients view the same space after the fact. Now, Kelly and Adam have a kitchen they can be proud of and enjoy for years to come!

"We truly enjoyed working with Texturious Designs for our kitchen remodel. Jen listened to our vision for the space and added thoughtful details into the design, making the end product even better than we envisioned. Not only did she make the kitchen look great, but she also ensured it is highly functional with cabinet choice and layout.

Jen is a great communicator and was a calming voice throughout the entire project (especially as we navigated COVID-19). We'd love to work with her again and would highly recommend Texturious Designs to friends and family." - Kelly & Adam Visser
