This project consisted of a whole-floor remodel which transformed the kitchen, mudroom, laundry, living, dry bar, half bath, primary bedroom and bathroom. We replaced the existing floors throughout with engineered hardwood and tile. Dated oak cabinets were replaced with painted black & white maple shaker-style doors. Quartz countertops in two different finishes help to balance out this black & white home. A custom hood and insert was built above the gas range to assist our clients who enjoy cooking and entertaining. Appliances are Cafe with brushed stainless and copper accents. The hardware is from Atlas in a soft gold and black finish mixed throughout to accent the cabinets. The kitchen features two islands for added prep and cooking surface and the existing dining nook was demoed out in place of more cabinetry and storage. Four small wooden shelves frame the window to display the client’s plant collection. The mudroom features a pet washing station and utility sink for optimal cleaning functionality. A black subway tile surround and backsplash is accented with gold fixtures. The best detail in this room is a cat pass built into the door for our clients' pets. The living area, off of the kitchen, now includes a dry bar with undercounter mini-fridge and ample wine storage.
