The interior design for this primary bath included improving the functionality and flow of the space. Previously a jet tub stood beneath a skylight, flanked on either side by the toilet and closet. The remodel included flipping the toilet and linen closet and converting the tub into an open 6x4’ shower. The toilet room now has a door, improving privacy. The shower included a completely custom tile surround, storage niche, body sprays, and transom window to allow light to flow into the rest of the room. This larger shower helps to improve the feeling of luxury and spaciousness to the room. Cream-colored tile walls were paired with natural marble 1x1” mosaics for the niche detail and shower floor. In contrast, the bathroom double-vanity was designed to have a more formal look and feel while still complementing the overall color scheme. A centered wall-cabinet adds extra storage between the two sinks. All plumbing fixtures and hardware was selected with a brushed nickel finish for a timeless, yet contemporary look. All walls and ceiling were painted and flooring is a luxury vinyl tile which resembles tile while still being durable and waterproof. Countertops were fabricated from Copper Ridge natural stone, granite. Photography by Metro Media Company.
