"We help you create a home interior that is both beautiful and functional, supporting the memories you want to make"
Jen holds a Master of Arts degree in Interior Design and is a Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer.®
She started her business in 2017 after an unexpected layoff in her previous role. Jen was called to use her education in design and to share her passion for environmental psychology, a topic which she researched and published studies on while in school.
With her previous career in software project management, she is a stickler for organization and timelines, ensuring her projects are done the right way. With so many decisions to make and details to consider when building a home, Jen guides her clients through the overall process.
Her work has been featured in DSM Magazine and the International Builders’ Show. She is an active member with the National Kitchen & Bath Association, National Association of Home Builders, and executive chair for the Professional Women in Building. She serves on the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Committee of the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce and is a volunteer with the Salisbury House & Gardens.
Jen lives near Des Moines, IA with her husband, Austin, newborn son, Francis, and fur-child, Louie.
Laura's previous interior design experience includes historic preservation, inclusive design, and working on national projects most recently in Naples, Florida.
She assists with interior design, client communication, administrative tasks, selections, and sourcing. We are so excited to have her assist with our client projects and help to provide the same great attention to detail and customer service that we strive for.
When she's not working, you can find her at local farmers markets or exploring the outdoors. Her love for community and nature is reflected within her designs.
Mel Guanci is the owner of In2ItSocial and the marketing director for Texturious Designs. She oversees the strategy and vision for all things marketing related. With her creative direction, our clients and audience receive the most up to date information in design and home building.
