01. Do you work with a specific contractor or builder?

We have a team of local contractors and home builders that we trust and enjoy working with. Using one of them will ensure your project goes smoothly as we understand their processes. However, we can work with any contractor that you know or already have an established partnership with.

02. When should I hire an interior designer if I’m planning to build a new home?

ASAP! Ideally, we will begin working together in the planning phase. If you already have construction documents or are working through the bid process, this is a great time to hire a designer. We can review the floor plans and provide best practices for space planning and flow throughout your home. Even if you are well beyond that stage, we can assist with material selections and visuals to help pull it all together.

03. What is the timeline?

Our full service design services including discovery, construction document audit, space planning, and selections are completed in approximately 4-6 weeks. Due to material lead times and custom orders, getting started ASAP is important to avoid delays in the project.

04. We don’t live in Des Moines yet. Can we still work together remotely?

Absolutely! We can still do the majority of our work together virtually - through video conferencing, phone calls, and/or email. Materials and products can be shipped directly to you in the mail to review and approve.

05. Do you offer payment plans?

Most of the services require a non-refundable 50% deposit to reserve your project on our calendar, but we  are always open to having a conversation about what will best fit your needs. Please reach out and ask.

06. What is needed to get started?

A 15-minute discovery call will help to clarify your project and specific home needs. If we’re a good fit to work together, you’ll receive a custom proposal that includes our invoice & contract. Schedule your call here.

Absolutely! Many of our clients have a few pieces that will remain in their new space. We can incorporate what you’ve already got with anything new that we source to create something that matches your personal style.
