Scenic Valley Custom Build

This custom build features a ranch-style home built in West Des Moines. Our clients wanted a contemporary home that featured clean lines and a mix of colors and materials. The kitchen is the show-stopper of the entire space with a custom hood with brushed nickel details and stained wood. The kitchen backsplash includes a stacked linear tile in a blue painted ceramic. Gold cabinetry hardware and black and gold lighting pendants accent the space. A gorgeous Cambria quartz was chosen as the countertop and island surfaces. A 48" range by Monogram was selected for our client's who enjoy cooking and entertaining. Light engineered hardwood floors compliment the darker wood cabinets. The primary bath features sleek, slab-profile vanities and more stacked tile in the shower and tub surround. A stained ceiling greets guests by the foyer area with two large french doors. The half bath carries the black and gold theme with gold mirrors, vanity lights, and black faucet. A York wallcovering is accented opposite the entrance in a fun, bold pattern. The lower level features a dark-painted entertainment area with custom-millwork and shelves for the client's ample book and magazine collection. Photography by Claire Zellmer Photography.
