If you're following home trends you've likely seen white shiplap as one of the longest ongoing design trends.
In recent years, it's been more popular to hang it horizontally. This new technique has hit mood boards all across the country and homeowners are building and remodeling using it in a variety of colors.
The horizontal shiplap here makes this space feel bigger! The black paint, gold hardware, and wood bench really elevate this space.
Full mudrooms can have a bunch of unusable space so a little hall nook is a great way to keep your entryway tidy.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with the Kerr family on their custom home-build. We love working with our builders and their clients.
It's exciting to build a custom home because everything is new and built to each client's personal preferences.
The Kerr's home is stunning and we were honored to be a part of their project and we are so grateful to them for letting us share pictures of their home.

As you can see we carried the black and gold into the basement for our client's wet bar. The best part of this space is the black tile accent wall with contrasting wood floating shelves. To get the ultra-modern look the tile was stacked and hung vertically.
It's true that the pandemic forced us all to think about our homes in a way that made us consider options for in-home entertainment (that we may have not considered before). Now our clients can entertain friends right at home.
